Fixtures say max 60W incandescent bulb
If my kitchen ceiling fixture and bedside table lamps say max 60W incandescent bulb, do I have to use 15W CFL? Too dim in kitchen and would like to increase to 20 or 29W CFL... can I do? Any danger of fixture overheating or causing fire?

The 60W incandescent restriction is because of heat dissipation, not because of wattage. The CFL, a fluorescent bulb not only consumes less energy but also gives off less heat.

    No risk.
