Join 2.75 cast pipe to 3 pvc tee fitting?

I can't seem to figure out how to join a 2.75 cast pipe to a 3 pvc pipe... any ideas?

Purchase a 3" service weight cast iron X 3" PVC shielded coupling... see image... available at any local plumbing supply store.
