Stops so abruptly when done spin cycle it rotates the hole machine an pulls off water level tube at the control panel an will not shut off water on rinse cycle . What would cause the sharp stop is this a common problem on these unit thanks for any help

I have never heard of this problem, but it sounds like the support springs came loose from body, probably due to rust. If this happened you will have to drill new holes and re-attach them. Plus, there may be other problems.
