I'm kenmore elite will only run 1 cycle. That is the perm press for 36 minutes. It only runs for 5 minutes then turns off so I have to go in and start the cycle again I do this until clothes are dry. I can not oust any other buttons other than start. Also during the cycle it continually beeps

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I would take a look at the Timer and connections/contacts.

Most likely you have a problem with the timer contacts being dirty or a bad connection at wiring harness. Frequently, vibration will loosen connections and this will cause your problem. You can bet it's something simple.
