If she abstains from sex for 3 or 4 days, it will mend quickly, there is no treatment and probably stings when a bit of urine gets near the tear. This irritation can be avoided while healing if she uses a 'barrier cream' ON the area. Barrier creams are available over the counter. No particular brand. Just as pharmacist for it.

Yes, OP should go to the doctor, only one of many visits she will have to have in the future for many reasons.
