Can I put an above ground pool (soft side INTEX) over an existing in ground sprinkler system?

I see no reason you can't as long as you remove/plug any sprinkler heads that would end up under the pool AND you keep in mind that should the existing sprinkler pipe start to leak at anytime in the future you will NOT be able to find the leak under the pool and will need to reroute the sprinkler line to remove the leak and get things back up and running, right?
