Im not very fit but the more time i spend at the gym the more i am getting fitter at the moment i do aslong as time allows on the recumbent bike , as long as time allows walking on the teadmill and 3 set of ten leg lifts on the swiss ball + 2/3 aqua class a week and swim at least 8/10 lengths at least 3/5 times a week.
