I removed a switch from my ceiling fan because the chain broke inside the switch.I disconnected the wire at the wire nut leaving a 3" pigtail in the switch so they could be transferred exactly to the new switch. Unfortunately the gray and black wires fell off the switch in handling and I had no notes or recollection of where to install them. I need a wiring diagram or a specific answer to where the black and gray wires attach. The switch contact point are L-1-2-3 with wire terminals on the outside and inside rings of the switch allowing two wire connections at L-1-2-3.
I will appreciate any help.
