I'm writing an essay on "does the state have right to show interest in families when harmed?" I need some good suggestions for the first paragraph

What does "harm" mean?

Some statistical stuff.. the basics. Some rules. You know. And 4 pages, double spaced. So 2. and like, domestic assult.

You created the title? I would suggest a more defined title. 4 pages isn't enough to write about domestic assault overall. 'Interest' is too vague too. Try some titles on us, There's police, prosecutors, and social service agencies... getting 'involved.'

First and foremost, put together an outline. If you do that, the essay will write itself.

Pick out one area of "family harm" to focus on. That will guide you in finding statistics.
