I went through this about 10 years ago with my best friend. Except it was the other way around I was trying to get over my ex. Anyway, we started dating and ended up realizing we should have remained friends. He was my closest friend we did everything together for years before we dated. However, after dating it was awkward and impossible to go back to just friends.
I would give him the time to get over her. Be there as his best friend. It's never good to start a relationship with someone who isn't over their ex IMO. Good luck!

You can't do anything. He obviously wants her, not you.
Mind your own business and leave him alone.

There is nothing you can do about it. This is something he has to do on his own and as long as he wants her, you can't make him want you.

Just be there for him as his friend. Once he is over her then you can tell him how you feel.
