Its been two months since I spoke to my ex boyfriend and I still think about him. Sometimes I reminese about the times we shared. I don't want a relationship with him I just miss my best friend, the person I thought he was. But now I'm trying too move on. I don't know why I have an urge to contact him, and get my feelings hurt once again by him. How to I erase him from my life for good?

How long were you dating? Two months is not a long time, it takes time. It does get better.
Don't contact him though. That does not help

We dated for two years

Well it's going to take more than two months to get past that.
Keep yourself busy, have some fun. Those thoughts will become fewer and far in between.

The more fun you have, the faster you will make new memories to replace old ones and those feelings will fade. Takes longer than two months though.

I think that's really common and normal to experience those feelings. I know with my last boyfriend I longed for the friendship and connection we shared after the relationship ended. At first I had this false notion or fantasy if you will that one day we could be friends but I've come to gladly accept that it'll never happen and it's for the best. You will get to that point too I promise as long as you two have no communication. That's what worked for me :-)
