I have a Heil FBF100F14G1. The pressure tube for the inducer motor gets condensate in it and quits heating. After draining the water it heats again until next time. What causes this problem? Improper venting?
Thanks, Keith

It could be that you don't have a trap on the furnace drain. Most condensing furnaces have special traps that come with the furnace. The trap prevents the suction of the inducer from pulling water back up the drain pipe. Your trap could be cracked or missing.
