    Toilet Vents?
I want to remodel/replumb an old bathroom and put in a new bath about 15 feet from where the drain pipe exits through the basement wall. The pipe is about 2 feet above the basement floor. The only vent that I see is in the yard on the septic tank! I would like to properly vent the toilets, tub, vanity and showers. What is the best way to connect to the exit pipe and where is the best placement for the Vent(s)? The minor fixtures will all be upstream from the toilets. The old bath has cast iron and I plan on replacing it.

I am guessing you will be installing some kind of lift station or sewer ejecter? Without looking at the existing piping it will ne nearly impossible to give you good advice.

Most bathroom groups are roughed in like this.
Toilet connects to sewer main. The toilet wet vents through the lavatory vent. Lavatory connects to toilet drain and runs a vent off the top the stubout tee out the roof or revents back into a dry vent in the attic.. The shower/ tub connects to the lavatory drain and is wet vented by it. This is a normal rough in and is acceptable both by local and state codes but also The Standard Plumbing Code Book. Good luck, Tom

    Thanks for the help!
I forgot to include the info that the baths are bothe on the first floor hence above the drain exit. Should I place the stack vent over at the new bath 15 feet away or the old bath 8feet away or would it be better to place it over the drain xit area. I would like to use only one vent for the whole project.
