Walking backing up in dishwasher when water turned off?
I had an issue the week I went on vacation. I have a town-home built in 82 that still has Poly-B pipes instead of PEX/PVC. Before I left on vacation I turned my water off. I had my neighbor come over and water my plants and feed my cat. He came over one time and turned the water on to water the plants and clean stuff off in the sink. He then turned the water back off. He came back over three days later to see the entire kitchen and living room was flooded. He didn't know where the water was coming from either. I came home to find out that water was seeping from my dishwasher, I opened the door and the bottom of the dishwasher was filled completely with water. I had a plumber come out and troubleshoot and he couldn't figure it out. He was dumbfounded. Any ideas? On another note nights later, my kids decided to drain their entire bubble bath bottle in the tub. When they got out I drained the water. I came downstairs and there were bubbles coming up in my bathroom sink and in my toilet as well as the bottom around my toilet, but not in my tub drain? Any ideas on this?
