I replaced the drive disc thinking it was the problem but when I move the shifter to reverse the chain case moves and comes back to neutral but it will not move to 12345 it sticks . I find no burrs on the octagon axle although I have cleaned it .

I replaced drive disc hopoing that was my problem but that didn't help. The chain case will slide to reverse and will back up and slide forward to neuteral and will not go into forward. Octogon shaft has no burrs and has been cleaned. Chain case slides one way but not the other. I can drive mower in reverse but not forward. I appreciate any help. Thanks-Van

Put newdrive disc on no help the chain case will slide to reverse and netural but will not go to 12345 . Tap with hammer it sticks and had to tap it back to nuteral the shaft has on burrs and is clean run good in reverse but chain case will not move to the ahead spot.
