Hello,
I was mowing a pasture with a JD 727A lawn mower. I took a turn and the mower turned off. I turned off the knob and tried to restart it, but it didn't work. I tried this a couple times. Most of the times the belts twisted slightly, like it was gearing up to go, but then just stopped. The belts only moved about a half inch. I checked the deck and cleared if of all the debris and checked to make sure the belt worked. The actual engine will push the lawn mower, but the blades won't spin. THere's a lot of leaves near the wires and fuses but I'm not sure if that's were the problem is.
Any suggestions?
