Can I vent my kitchen sink at the floor in the basement
ihave the double sink that connect togather in my kitchen. And the traps stright down from the pipe were the two connect
I got a answer for this before, but I did not give enough details ,the venting at the basement floor was very helpful .But I have a double kitchen sink and the pipe rund=s fron one to the other then the trap in my kitchen sink .Where would I put the aav do not have enough room to put it after the trap
Each side of the sink has its own trap? Does the drain come out of the wall or go down into the floor from the traps? Back to you. TomQuote:

Sorry! You said traps so I assumed a trap for each tub. You do have the room to install a AAV but you will have to replace the elbo going into the floor with a sanitary tee on its back followed by a street ell and 2 45's in the vertical line to connect back, The AAV goes in the tee. Good luck, Tom
