Changing my child's surname now I'm married
I've recently got married and was wondering if I need my ex partners permission to double barrell my child's surname?

I have no idea what double barrel means. It varies somewhat by location but in general, no, not without the birth parent's permission.

    EDIT: Do you mean hyphenate?
