My cold water spigot for my washing machine is leaking. Looks like the washer needs to be replaced.
I cannot loosen the bolt to separate the assembly. I cannot loosen the screw for the handle either.
Will heating the entire spigot help loosen the nut? I own a Presto-lite torch and a "B" tank. The unit is within 6 inches of the wall so I was considering a damp cloth.
