Sounds like its fraud to me... but then I'm not Canadian... they do things a little different north of the border.

I believe that could be fraud but I'm not familiar with current laws regarding marriage between citizens of different countries. If there is a shadow of a doubt, a quick investigation would reveal the truth and both parties could have serious consequences to deal with.

Adding my $.02 here but its morally wrong if nothing else.

And who is getting the loan ? And I have a feeling that it is fraud in more ways than one, since I have never heard of having to be married for a business loan in Canada
