    My well pump will not prime
    My meters HC50 well jet pump will not prime. I put 20 gal of water in through the pressure gauge fitting and it keeps belching and wanting more. Prior to it losing prime it ran constantly but still delivered water. When I adjusted the shut off switch I noticed that the pressure gauge fell to "0" when it cycled OFF. What is the problem?

    It sounds like you have a faulty foot/check valve that's not allowing your system to hold pressure or prime. The solution would be to replace the valve. Good luck, Tom
