So basically long story short. I met a girl in October and dated her for 3 months. It ended in December due to her ex (first lover) saying he still has feelings for her. I haven't talked to get since January and I've tried but she hasn't replied. She is exactly like me but she's a female. They broke up in June 2011 and she said when our relationship was strong that she loved me more than she's ever loved him for who I am. What are my chances and how do I get her back? Do I give her time or what? Thanks and I left out a lot of details.

She lied, and went back to the ex. Leave her alone, as she will probably stay where she is. And even if she doesn't, its quite foolish to be stuck on some one who can go back and forth so easily.

Baloney. Doubletalk. She went back to him and that's all that counts. Some people thrive on people who hurt them but then crave their return, and you have to accept it and let it go.

You need to be a little angry to get out of the dumps. Truthfully, of course, many people say stupid things to try to prevent hurt, even when it just keeps you hanging and hoping. It isn't easy.

All you can do is keep busy with friends. Ask them to drag you wherever you go even if you are no fun right now, and to not even try to cheer you up.
