Hi I wa strying to the wheel off my jdsxt38 and the entire axel came out. I put it back in and worked but but it won't stay in. Is there a snap ring inside of the rear end or did I really screw something up?

There's a snap ring inside the trans-axle , it will have to come apart to repair.
