Ask your mom to buy zinc gluconate. Take 100 mg. a day for a week. Then take 200 mg. for a week. Then go up to 300 mg. for two weeks.

Yes, it's in the vitamin aisle at any Walgreen's, Walmart, etc. My son used zinc gluconate 22 (22 mg.) and took it three times a day and thereafter as I mentioned earlier.
