I need to replace the tub drain linkage assembly on my tub. I removed the drain cover and can not get the old drain linkage assembly out. I put wd-40 in to see if it would loosen up but no luck. Is there any other suggestions?

Grip the assembly and put some muscle into it. If you have a tub access panel you may also loosen the compression nut and remove the tube and drain assembly. You can then punch it out. Good luck, Tom
