    On the hose for the drain it says to knock out plug in disposer before use .where is the disposer?

    Hi Robbie

    The disposal would be the GARBAGE DISPOSAL's inlet pipe for a dishwasher. If you don't have a garbage disposal then you must connect the dishwasher discharge hose into as BRANCH DRAIN or BRANCH DRAIN TAILPIECE... see images.

    Be sure to install a HIGH LOOP in the dishwasher drain hose, i.e. loop the dishwasher drain hose up tight to the bottom of the counter before connecting into the branch drain... keeps water from the sink from draining out of the sink and into the dishwasher.

    If you have a countertop AIR GAP then you must connect into that.. if not the high loop is the standard practice!
