    Very Strange!
Hi, I have been going to this therapist for awhile and I want to stop. She constantly texts me and calls me if I need to cancel an appointment. I have gone to other therapist and have told me I could use a session once a month. This therpist wants me to see her twice a week. I know she is out for the money. Which I have been going to her twice a week. I'm having a hard time right now with money so I want to stop the sessions. What should I do? I just sent her en email explaining everything but I bet she will text me.
    She keeps callimg me..

Tell her you cannot afford the sessions. If she continues to hound you, report her. That is inappropriate

Do you know, or has she told you, WHY (other than money) she thinks you need to meet with her twice a week?

Talk to her and get a better deal. Do you feel she is helping you? Why are you going to her if I may be so bold?

Hi, Thank you for responding. I have been going to her for relationship issues, Building more confidence. Doing much better. I don't feel I need all these sessions.

I'm a counselor and have worked out all sorts of variations to in-person sit-down counseling sessions -- IMing, email, telephone check-ins, and even short telephone problem-solving sessions. Ask her if you can do something like that with her. I'm guessing she's thinking "accountability."

Tell her that. If confidence was your problem maybe she is waiting for you to say you are confident enough to say what you want and don't want.
