I had a company call and ask to speak with me, and then they told me my car loan was accepted. I don't work, I have no credit, and I did not apply for a car loan. So how did they get my name and my number?

Sounds like a scam. They can get that info from anywhere. Are you listed in a phonebook? Or they could have got it from an employment application. Who knows where.
Do you go online and do odd jobs like filling out surveys? If so, that is how they got your information. I hope that you did not give them any of your personal information. Also, if their phone number showed up when they called you can do a reverse phone number look up and see where they are calling from.
Phone lists, most have computer dialers that then connect you with a phone caller.
You know the answer, if they have no credit info on you, how could you be approved for a car loan.
The only exception may be a buy here/pay here car place that will let anyone that can pay them the down payment drive off in a car.
