When I start my honda the "s" light is flashing and when I shift to d4 it won't go anywhere but when I shift to 1st to second then to third it drives all right but rough.

. Change the transmission fluid and inspect the magnetic drain plug for signs of excessive wear. If the problem persists, the clutch packs may be shot and you should take it to Honda for repair.
