I have relocated my washing machine upstairs on the 2nd floor in an existing bathroom. I had a double sink/vanity that I replaced with a single sink to get the washing machine adjacent to it. I intend to use the existing hot/cold water connections for what was the 2nd sink. Problem is they are 3/8" connections and all washing machine hoses are 3/4 x 3/4. There is not much copper to work with as it comes out of the wall so I would much rather not redo the plumbing connections as it would open up a can of worms.

Do they make washing machine hoses 3/8 x 3/4?

If not would it be acceptable to use brass adapter fittings to go from 3/8 to 3/4?

It will take a long time to fill that washing machine using a 3/8" feed, but if you must you can get a SS braided hose that goes from 3/8" compression to 1/2" IPS female... a normal lavatory supply. Then purchase a 1/2" IPS x 7/8" hose male brass adapter (see image) and install that into the lavatory supply. Finish by installing your washing machine SS braided hoses as needed.

Otherwise, and I strongly advise this, cut or sweat the old shutoffs off and raise the pipes to above the washing machine so you can install a single lever symmons or watts washing machine valve and you can shut the water flow off after each time you use the washing machine... ALWAYS BEST FOR 2ND FLOOR WASHING MACHINE INSTALLATIONS!

Yep... gonna cut out the old shutoffs and do exactly as you wrote. I needed that to convince me. Not worth a flood having to rig it to work. Thanks for you help.
