    DWV questions
Would somebody please explain what a wet vent is? How do they work? Is this a pipe that drains from a fixture and vented out the roof? All this DWV is very confusing.
    Thank you... rick

A wet vent vents a fixture that drains into the drain line of a vented fixture. The fixture being wet vented uses part of the second fixtures drain line to reach that fixtures vent. Hence, the term "wet-vent". Hope that explains it to your satisfaction. Regards, Tom
