Bryant unit: no heat, light blinking eight times
I have a bryant model 589anw030080acbd model heater/a.c unit... I have two major problems 1.) the heat won't turn on. I took off the lid, and the red light blinks 8 times. Does anybody know where to find the diagnostic translation for eight blinks.
2.) after a recent power outage (about a week ago), the unit came back on, but the fan WILL NOT shut off even when the ac isn't on. Basically, it's the same as if I turned the switch on the thermostat to "ON"; the ac shuts off, but the fan stays blowing 24/7.
I'm not sure if the two problems are related. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hey, I should add an update: just found the diagnostic code answer for eight blinks: apparently it's an "Internal Code Fault". So now what do I do? Is this a major or minor problem?
