Kenmore dryer model 10064632300 does not heat, timer stopped working
Is it possible that the timer can cause the element not to heat

Yes it is possible for the timer to cause no heat in dryer but very unlikely. When you turn on the dryer to timed cycle does the timer continue to advance? If it does the timer is OK.
