A relationship is a two way thing-communication is essential and it's not about you 'doing anything' for him-it's about being committed to each other.

Yes this does have some relation to my friend but we aren't friends anymore so it shouldn't be an issue but she does still call him and say how much he is a jerk for ruining our friendship

Don't get carried away Alyssa, by your intense feelings, I mean he has to do his part in making things work, or get rid of the jerk.

Yes, normally when there is trouble in a relationship both sides have problems, at 15, even what will latter seem like minor issues, seem like life shattering.

So first you don't do "everything" for him, that is a one sided relationship, you both need some other friends of your own, time to yourself and share some time together.
