What is a super neutral, and when is it used?
A super neutral is usually a larger neutral, 200% larger that the branch circuit rating, in a multi-wire branch circuit feeder, widely used to serve modular furniture in offices, as one example.
The purpose is to deal with the harmonics that can accumulate on a neutral for 120 volt loads such as desk top computers, etc.
Thank you very much, this is very helpful.
