My mom hates him and won't sign for me to get married and go live on base while he's in the army.she finds any excuse to keep us apart. Get a custody and child support order--because that's what you DO when you're not married and have a child.

Besides that, you should live by your mother's rules while raising your child until you are 18--when you are emancipated.

I would make sure before you get custody and child support from him, that he'd go to jail or not. He's 18. Your 16. He can get into trouble. In some states when they go in to take a DNA test they will look at the age. If you need money depending on the laws there where you live have him and your mom sit down and come up with an agreement.
