Forgetting a relationship.
I know there's probably tons of these types of questions on this website, but I'd like some unique help, if you will.
There is a girl that I dated for a while. We've had our ups and downs. Some, more than others. Tons of problems have come between us... Mostly hers, to be honest. Her over-protective mother (which kept us from seeing each other a lot), her ex that she still has a large amount of feelings for (he cheated on her, may I mind you), and the fact that she's too paranoid about herself.
Recently, we said goodbye to each other for (what we guess is) good. She has deleted my number, and I have deleted hers. We no longer text, and can't see each other. Now, the question I ask is, what is the easiest way for me to forget her? I am not exactly a charming young man. I try to be sweet and caring, but to be honest, I consider myself lucky for even having a girlfriend once. I have a low self-esteem though. It has been almost a week, yet I still look at my phone, waiting for her to text me. I expect her to tell me she wants to come back, and that she's sorry for leaving. It's quite pathetic, the things I think.
So, what is the easiest way possible for me to forget her? I loved the girl with all my heart, and I still do. I honestly am stuck.
