    Forgetting a relationship.
I know there's probably tons of these types of questions on this website, but I'd like some unique help, if you will.

There is a girl that I dated for a while. We've had our ups and downs. Some, more than others. Tons of problems have come between us... Mostly hers, to be honest. Her over-protective mother (which kept us from seeing each other a lot), her ex that she still has a large amount of feelings for (he cheated on her, may I mind you), and the fact that she's too paranoid about herself.

Recently, we said goodbye to each other for (what we guess is) good. She has deleted my number, and I have deleted hers. We no longer text, and can't see each other. Now, the question I ask is, what is the easiest way for me to forget her? I am not exactly a charming young man. I try to be sweet and caring, but to be honest, I consider myself lucky for even having a girlfriend once. I have a low self-esteem though. It has been almost a week, yet I still look at my phone, waiting for her to text me. I expect her to tell me she wants to come back, and that she's sorry for leaving. It's quite pathetic, the things I think.

So, what is the easiest way possible for me to forget her? I loved the girl with all my heart, and I still do. I honestly am stuck.

You keep busy and start to actively turn your life around.

Healing from a break up takes time but if you work on moving on by doing things that make you feel better it will be less of an unsettling period.

Focus on overcoming your own personal obstacles and raising your own self esteem. Building a life that you enjoy without her, with family and friends, and activities that makes you happy is the BEST way to move on from the past, but be warned, its not the easiest thing to do, and requires a strong commitment to yourself, and a willingness to work hard in your own behalf.

Oh man. Well try and love yourself first, develop a relationship with yourself that is loving, so no more of this uncharming young man business or anything like that. Love yourself love yourself love yourself. Develop new interests. If you still feel this way in a month, contact her and let her know. Try and get what YOU want for yourself.
