    Cutting arcs with bandsaw
I need to cut several arcs of about 6 metre radius or more. They can be in around 2 metre segments. I've tried using a template but I can't get the accuracy required.
    Any ideas ?

Do you have an extension table fashioned , so that a jig which holds the material to be cut can repeatedly swing through the same arc ?

Is it a true radius if so use a router instead of a band saw if cutting through thick wood i.e. 4x6 cut half way through then rough cut on bandsaw and finish with a router with a bearing on the bottom smooth and clean and true as the first cut. You can make a router jig very easy let me know and I will help if needed.
