Inside blower on central unit does not come on when placed on auto mode
I have a Rudd, 2 ton central a/c unit, all electric home no furnace, therefore the blower unit, duct work is in the attic which is a crawl space.
I used the a/c last week, worked fine. Today, I turned it on, the outside unit came on, but inside fan did not. I moved switch from auto to on, and it came on, but I have to manually shut it off, when the unit shuts off.
Will it hurt to run unit w/o running inside blower?
If I leave blower on all the time, when a/c shuts off the blower fan brings in all the hot air from attic, and a/c runs too much.
