1992 HONDA CIVIC Trouble Starting Cold
I have a 92 Civic LX 1.5. It goes through temper tantrums where is is hard to start first thing -- after it has been sitting for several hours. Regardless of the outside temp or humidity it cranks but won't kick. I can get it started -- although with a lot of difficulty -- with starter fluid and a LOT of cranking. Then sometimes it dies after a few minutes running and has a tough time starting again. After that it runs and starts just fine. So it seems like some kind of fuel related problem. I -- and Honda mechanics have replaced about every sensor, etc under the hood. The computer comes up with a different error code every time. It's almost like somehow air gets into the front of the fuel line and it takes awhile to get to gas. Any ideas?

It's likely distributor related, if the CEL comes on and goes off normally. I would replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil:

I recommend replacing these problematic components every 120,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.
