Domestic water system residence

Water pump pumps water under pressure into pressure tank. When pressure reaches a certain point, say 50#, then the switch turns the pump off. Water is stored under pressure in the tank, waiting to be used. As water is used, the pressure drops to a set point, at which time the pump turns back on.
