My take on it is that he is fearful of commitment. He moved out because things were getting too serious and he still wanted to do some living. I think he emotionally detached himself from you but continued to have sex with you because he could and you didn't say no.

I don't envy the situation you are in. Get a good lawyer, you might need it for child support.

While some men do have various issues being intimate with their pregnant partner, it sounds more like he was already distancing himself from the relationship even before the pregnancy occurred.

Is he supporting you through the pregnancy? Is he making plans for after the baby is born?
