I don't trust the information that I am getting from the NY probation dept. so I would like to verify if the Probation Dept.in Florida accepts misdemeanor probation transfers from NYS

Call Probation for the County you are interested in and ask.

I read nothing that says you can't transfer misdemeanor from NY to Florida. I do see that Florida has 45 days to make a decision after it gets your request.
