Heat Pump working instead of A/C
Had mother board replaced in condenser during summer, in the winter noticed condenser was frosting over, replaced mother board again, had a warm day, tried to use A/C, heat came out of registers, tech. claims there was a problem with control wires broken wire or wires, is this possible %'s or was the unit miss wired while being worked on. I do not understand how it is possible for broken wires to cause you to get heat when you have the A/C on, but I do believe it very possible to get this from bundling wires wrong. Am I right or wrong or is there a gray area?
