Hot water shower knob hard to turn
All of a sudden the Hot water knob in my shower is really hard to turn. The cold water turns fine. The hot water use to not be hard like it is but it is getting worse. We recently had a winter freeze and during the freeze the hot water knob turned like it should but now that the weather is back in the 70's it is back to being really hard to turn. I am not even close to be handy or fixing this myself. I'm afraid I will do more damage. What could be causing this? Should I be getting ready for a pipe to bust from the pressure? Help... :)

    Hi Taffi...

No concerns about the pipe bursting here, but it does sound like the hot faucet needs to be disassembled and greased up. A plumber can do this quickly and easily so if you aren't super handy call in a pro. And they should make quick work of it all... ;)
