My 1999 Honda Civic won't start
My 1999 honda civic with 175,000 miles won't start. Pprior to this problem I started to experience a jerking movement upon accelaration while driving. Also when the clutch was disengage or in neutral I still had that jerking movement. I changed the timing belt at 90,000 miles. Now when I crank up the ignition it won't turn all the way. What might be the precise problem. Thank u

    Perform the tests below:

I'd focus on the distributor. I recommend replacing the ICM and coil every 120,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first:

OK now this is just a theory... but civics have a tennancy to give a beating to the "ICM" (ignition control module) my 90 civic blew one at 190,000. It should be inside the distributer cap... try that and make sure the timing belt is lined up correctly... that's all I have
