I have a Moncrief Furnace, it's about 56yrs. Old (house build in 1955) so I guess the furnace is that old?
Color: Gray and Green (top green/ bottom gray)
The furnace will run only if I hit the reset button and stay on for about 10mins or less some times not that long and almost never come back on until I restart it again.

There is a pilot light on at all times and the reset works about 90% of the time if I hit it.
Question: with this all being said.. what seems to be wrong with this furnace? Other then it's old. It's one of the best of it's kind and it has worked very well over the 11yrs. I've been in the house. I don't think I need a new one YET.. maybe with in 2yrs. I'm working of 2012 spring time for replacement.

So.. what's wrong with Mr. Old Moncrief?
