I want to keep the light, but does anyone have any ideas how to make it look better?

Well... any chance you could send a picture? Hard to say what to do until you show us what you got. Anything can be cleaned, painted, polished... the globes (if there) can be changed... endless opportunity.

I don't have a picture of my light, but here is a sample picture of what I'm dealing with. Want some ideas without having to change the fixture out. Thanks
