Do I need a new cpu for my 1992 civic vx (MT)
My car starts, but when I get off 1st and into 2'nd gear it starts to shake when it passes 1500 rpm and if I leave it on neutral it turns off (completely) I checked the Aic valve and its fine, the cap and rotor are new, so are the spark plugs and wires (ngk)

Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil:

So my symptoms lead to the icm? The car jerks and shakes whenever I rev 1500 rpm and I can't go over 50 on the freeway, I had in mind it could be the transmission somehow but feared it could be it since its very expensive and a obd1 car scanner is hard to come by since they would charge me over $60 just to diognose it
