I have a trane xe 80 furnace and the ignitor does not always work or turn red. Both blowers are working but the ignitor will work only 30% of the time. When the ignitor works the furnace will continue to work all day no problem. Is this a sign of a bad control board? How can I test the control board to see if it need to be replaced? The thermostat was replaced 6 months ago and the ignitor was test yesterday with no problem found.
